SAP FI Consultant SAP FI Consultant Belgrade, Serbia SpotLIGHT of the job The SAP FI Consultant will play a key role in driving financial process excellence by actively contributing to the S/4HANA migration and implementing the New General Ledger . This position focuses on harmonizing treasury operations within SAP, ensuring efficient and standardized processes for netting , electronic bank statements (EBS) , payment runs (F110) , and advanced financing solutions such as reverse factoring (Taulia) and factoring . The consultant will collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver robust, compliant, and optimized financial solutions aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities S/4HANA Migration & New General Ledger: Participate in planning and execution of the migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA Configure and implement the New General Ledger, including parallel ledgers and document splitting Ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements during migration Project Management for E-Invoicing: Leading cross-functional teams and coordinating between internal business units (Finance, Tax, IT) and external solution partners/vendors Ensuring compliance with country specific regulatory frameworks, digital reporting obligations, and electronic invoice standards Managing full project lifecycle, from requirement gathering and process design to testing, cutover, and hypercare Treasury Process Harmonization: Design and standardize treasury processes across entities within SAP Implement and optimize netting for intercompany settlements, Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) and Payment Program (F110) Support integration of advanced financing solutions  Process Optimization & Integration Analyze existing financial workflows and propose improvements aligned with best practices Ensure seamless integration between FI and related modules (MM, SD, TRM) Collaborate with technical teams for system enhancements and troubleshooting Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and processes Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements 3rd Level Support Act as the highest escalation point for complex SAP FI issues within the global finance community Skills & Experience We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every single requirement. Proven track record in S/4HANA migration projects and New General Ledger implementation . Experience with treasury processes in SAP, including netting , EBS , F110 , and financing solutions such as reverse factoring (Taulia) and factoring . Exposure to global finance environments and multi-country rollouts. Technical Skills Deep knowledge of SAP FI submodules (GL, AP, AR, AA). Familiarity with integration points between FI and MM, SD, TRM. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues as 3rd Level Support .
