SAP CO Consultant SAP CO Consultant Belgrade, Serbia SpotLIGHT of the job The SAP CO Consultant will be a key contributor to Zumtobel’s finance transformation journey, focusing on the implementation of the New General Ledger (New GL), the evaluation and introduction of a modern consolidation solution (e.g., SAP Group Reporting), and supporting the migration to SAP S/4HANA . This role ensures seamless i ntegration of Controlling (CO) processes with Financial Accounting (FI) , drives data accuracy and transparency, and enables future-ready reporting structures. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, the position will help shape a scalable, compliant, and efficient financial landscape aligned with Zumtobel’s strategic objectives. Responsibilities New General Ledger Implementation Configure and implement New GL functionalities such as document splitting, parallel ledgers, and segment reporting Align FI-CO integration for accurate financial and management reporting Support data migration, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation of CO-related data Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize cost center and profit center structures Consolidation System Evaluation (SAP Group Reporting) Analyze current consolidation processes and identify improvement opportunities Evaluate SAP Group Reporting as a solution for legal and management consolidation Define requirements for intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and group-level adjustments Participate in proof-of-concept and provide recommendations for system selection S/4HANA Migration  Ensure CO process readiness for S/4HANA migration and Universal Journal integration Participate in system testing, cutover planning, and post-go-live support Validate compliance with Zumtobel’s financial reporting standards and internal controls Stakeholder Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with Finance, IT, and external partners to deliver project milestones. Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials. Act as a subject matter expert for CO-related topics during workshops and decision-making. Professional Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP CO (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing). Proven track record in New GL implementation and FI-CO integration . Experience in S/4HANA migration projects and understanding of Universal Journal. Familiarity with SAP Group Reporting or other consolidation tools Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP CO configuration and processes . Understanding of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
