Are you passionate about outdoor lighting and driven by building strong, long-term customer relationships? Do you enjoy working with municipalities, infrastructure authorities, and consultants to deliver impactful, sustainable lighting solutions? Zumtobel Group is recruiting a Key Account Manager – Outdoor to grow our outdoor lighting presence in the Bergen region, Norway . In this role, you will develop key customer relationships, identify and manage high-potential projects, and drive profitable growth across public and infrastructure-focused accounts.
Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of the outdoor lighting sector, including key market drivers and growth opportunities. Define and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve sustainable, profitable growth. Create and execute professional account plans for key customers in alignment with the Sales Manager. Select, manage, and convert key outdoor lighting projects to achieve strong commercial results. Build and maintain a diverse portfolio of key accounts, including municipalities, national road authorities, energy companies, M&E consultants, and specialist installing contractors. Develop broad and effective personal networks within key accounts and projects to support sales and business development activities. Take ownership of your personal sales budget and deliver agreed targets across specifications, sales, margin, product mix, and conversion rates. Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure a customer-centric approach in all activities.
Skills & Experience

Experience in the lighting and/or smart building sector, ideally in a an outdoor lighting-focused B2B sales role. Proven track record of success in account management and business development. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Commercially driven, self-motivated, and structured working style. Experience with using a CRM system would be considered as an advantage. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Fluent in the local language with strong English skills.
