Head of Sales - Data Centre Lighting Head of Sales - Data Centre Lighting Homebased, National Role, UK SpotLIGHT of the job We are recruiting for a Head of Sales that will be a specialist within the space of Data Centres. As the lead for the function, you will drive the strategic growth for the sector across the UK & Ireland. In this role, you will need to combine skills of sector expertise, relationship building, and commercial execution to expand our footprint and deliver best in class lighting solutions to the Data Centre Clients. Responsibilities You will lead the development and delivery of our Go To Market strategy for Data Centres across all UK regions. You’ll need to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including End Users, consultants, architects, and contractors. You can demonstrate high personal motivation to achieve the set targets, understanding their impact on the overall business. You will address complex challenges with innovative and actionable solutions that improve processes and outcomes. Keep yourself up to date and understand the technological and market trends as well as their implications for the Business. You will need to ensure the business is approved and listed on specifications to access Data Centre projects effectively. Identify and recommend appropriate conferences, exhibitions and industry events to enhance brand visibility and sector engagement. Skills & Experience Previous experience working in a similar sales role that is connected within the world of data centres. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Salesforce/Dialux(Relux)/AutoCAD. Understanding of DALI/DSI/Bacnet/OPC/Ethernet networks/Building Energy Management Systems is advantageous. Ability to manage accounts professionally and build positive relationships with internal and external customers Good networking skills along with strong commercial awareness Good Presentation and Negotiation skills with the ability to communicate technical information in a relevant way to both technical and non-technical customers What matters to us We understand not only the power of the visible, but also the invisible.
