You will join our team as Data Architect responsible for designing and governing the organization’s enterprise data architecture. This role is critical in establishing a scalable and solid foundation for data management, ensuring that data is trustworthy, secure, and directly aligned with business objectives. Your goal is to design the enterprise data ecosystem, including data lakes, warehouses, and modern data platforms, defining the strategy for how data will be integrated, governed, and utilized to drive analytics and innovation.
Responsibilities
Define Data Architecture: Design scalable, secure, and high-performing data architecture solutions aligned with business needs. Model Enterprise Data: Develop and maintain robust data models that support analytics, reporting, and operational needs. Lead Data Initiatives: Oversee the design and implementation of data pipelines, data warehouses, and lakehouse structures. Ensure Data Governance: Establish standards for data quality, metadata, lineage, and compliance. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, domain experts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective data solutions. Evaluate Technologies: Assess and recommend modern data platforms, tools, and frameworks to support the evolving data landscape. Promote Best Practices: Drive consistency in data modeling, architecture, and usage across the organization. Support Analytics & Reporting: Enable self-service analytics by ensuring data accessibility and integration with BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Mentor & Guide: Support junior team members with architectural guidance and knowledge sharing. Align with Strategy: Ensure architectural decisions support long-term business and technology strategy.
Skills & Experience

A bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field. At least five years of relevant experience in design and implementation of data models for enterprise data warehouse initiatives Experience leading projects involving data warehousing, data modelling, and data analysis Design experience in Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Power BI/Tablea Programming & Data Tools: Proficient in languages such as Java, Python, C/C++, and tools like SQL, R, SAS, and Excel Modern Data Architecture: Skilled in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure), real-time data streaming (e.g., Kafka, Dataflow), and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks). Databases & Storage Technologies: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and platforms such as Oracle, Hadoop, and Teradata. Data Modeling & Quality: Knowledge of entity-relationship modeling, metadata systems, and data quality techniques. Business Intelligence & Visualization: Familiar with BI and ETL tools like Power BI, Tableau, and data integration platforms. Strategic & Architectural Thinking: Ability to align technical decisions with business needs and assess architecture options based on value delivery. Collaboration & Communication: Strong team player with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders, including senior management. Learning & Innovation: Demonstrates adaptability and a drive to adopt emerging technologies, especially in ML/AI. Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to guide technical design to meet business objectives.
